Well, I totally missed the link up with Tanya last week for Prime Purchases. I totally lost track of time once I came back from vacation and tried to return to a normal groove. Work has been super busy as well- before vacation and after. Since getting a promotion, I’ve been so busy at work that I don’t have time to think about anything else and too exhausted afterwards to work on the blog.
I’m not complaining about the promotion, but I’m juggling the old position and the new one until we get the old position back filled. Things should settle down a bit in another month. Until then, you get what you get and that means you get my round up of July Prime Purchases a week late.
I bought lots of great things during Prime Days and they are too good not to share, late or not. A lot of my purchases are problem solvers that address fashion and beauty issues.
Pre- Prime Day Purchases
I picked up a few things before Prime Days started:
3 Piece Lace Half Cami
I bought a dress that was a bit too low cut for me. I hate wearing a full cami under tops and dresses because it’s just too hot here for the extra layer. These half cami tops are the answer! They provide coverage and are super thin so they don’t add any bulk. Grab your set now!

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Polish – Beach You To It
I cannot sit still long enough for nails to dry. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri to the rescue. It really does dry fast. I typically wear an orange color on my toenails during some part of the summer. I replaced my old orange polish with this one because I love the fast dri formula.
Tinkle Eyebrow Razors
I love these for keeping up my eyebrows and for self dermaplaning. I needed to replace my stash.
July Prime Day Purchases
URBAN DECAY Naked Mini Eyeshadow Palette
I love these palettes because I have no use for the large palettes with lots of colors I will never use. I also love getting a deal so I grabbed this one during prime days.
The Original Everlasting Comfort Foot Rest Under Desk for Office
This was totally an impulse buy while scrolling the Prime Day deals but I LOVE it. My feet and legs swell when I have days where I’m stuck behind my desk and not moving around much. I put this under my desk at home and it’s nice to be able to prop my feet up a bit while working on the computer and blog at home after hours. I love it so much that I am considering getting one for my office at work.
Weekender/ Gym Bag
This bag features a port to connect a portable battery to charge your phone and a separate section for shoes. It has a shoulder strap and carry handles. I haven’t used it yet but I’m hopeful that it holds more than my current carry on bag simply because of the extra space for shoes. I never seem to have the right bag for an overnight or 2-3 day trip. Anyone else? Now I have another option.
BALEAF Women’s 6″/8″ High Waisted Biker Shorts with Pockets
My favorite workout biker shorts. They have pockets! lol, pockets are a must. They have good stretch but good hold and coverage. At 5’2″ I find the 6 inch length the perfect modest length. I snatched up a couple of new pairs while on sale during prime days. They are worth their price, sale or not.
Sports Research Collagen Peptides
The hubby and I both use this for joint health and I have it on a subscribe and save subcription. That doesn’t mean I won’t grab an extra container when it’s on sale.
Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier – Acai Berry
We’ve been having temps in the high 90s and heat index of 112-115 the past week. The hubby swears by this stuff. We took advantage of prime day sales to stock up and have been glad for it this past week.
Gillette Venus Intimate Grooming Womens Electric Razor, Bikini Trimmer
Several brands of these were on sale during Prime Day sales. After reading reviews, I decided to go with this one. I’m happy with it. I suffer from severe razor burn when I shave the bikini area. This hasn’t caused razor burn one bit, and doesn’t tug or pull. Of course, it’s not a super close shave, but it’ s great for touch ups.
Ekouaer Pajama or Beach Set
I bought these for pajamas. I just can’t help getting a cute set of PJs every year during Prime Day sales. These could be worn for a beach cover up as well.
MIRAAZZURRA Women Sling Back Pumps
A pair of cap toe sling backs have been on my wish list for-eeever! I had this exact pair in my Amazon wish list and the heavens aligned for them to go on sale. Now they are in my closet. They are comfortable and a great budget friendly option for a pair of Coco inspired shoes.
Affresh Washing Machine Cleaner
I use and love the Affresh dishwasher cleaner so I decided to get the washing machine cleaner and the garbage disposal cleaner while they were on sale. They didn’t disappoint.
BALEAF Women’s Lightweight Vest
I already own one of these in a light grey and wanted another color. I wear them in the field at work, but they would be great for hiking or anytime you need another layer with an athleisure outfit. It’s perfect for travel. The pockets are flat but hold a phone or similar size item. It also wicks moisture to keep you dry. Enjoy staying comfortable and dry on your next hike or trip.
New Balance Women’s Dynasoft Nergize V3 Cross Trainer
Another Prime Day steal. These are soft, comfy and light for travel. I wanted a pair of lighter weight sneakers for my trip to Yellowstone and these fit the bill. They are cloth so they don’t stay dry if it rains, but the footbed has the comfort I expect and enjoy from New Balance. The neutral color goes with everything.
C9 Champion Women’s Active Tank
I grabbed two of these- the teal and rose pink. I like a loose fit in a workout top, not one that clings. This one has the perfect loose fit. It’s not sloppy but it skims and moves with me in a workout. Enjoy comfort and style during a workout with these tops.
Lee Women’s Relaxed Fit All Day Straight Leg Pant
These come in short, long and regular lengths. I wear them for work on casual days in the field. These pants are comfortable, stretch just enough and hold up to wash and wear. I already own a pair in black and my only complaint was the fading, but it’s to be expected for black pants as much as I’ve worn and washed them. I grabbed two pair during Prime Day sales. I do size up as these run small.
Sun Bum Original SPF 50 Sunscreen Spray
Another must have for our trip to Yellowstone. This is a great clean sunscreen that gets the job done. It’s moisturizing but not greasy. Feel secure knowing you are protected from the sun and getting the extra benefit of vitamin E for your skin.
SexyHair Style Play Dirty Dry Wax Spray
I use this on my freshly washed hair to give it some texture. It’s one of my go to hair products so getting it on sale during Prime Days was a plus.
That’s a wrap for July 2023 Prime Purchases. We’re almost half way through August and I have only ordered one thing. The hubby has been ordering parts and supplies for the Jeep restoration but August will likely be a light Amazon month for me. I thoroughly stocked up during July.
