Happy December! and Merry Christmas to you! November, especially this past week was another big spending month at Amazon. Let’s jump right into what I bought. Lucky for you many of my purchases are on Cyber Monday deals.
Clothing and Accessories
Cropped Bomber Jacket
Fall has been a struggle for me as far as fashion goes so I spent a good bit of time and money updating my wardrobe a bit. I’m obsessed with cropped jackets and they work well for my short torso, so I’m glad they are trending. I ordered this jacket from Amazon and have been pleased with it. You can wear it dressed up or casual. I will be wearing it to work as well as on my off time.
Camel Blazer
I have a camel blazer that I love to wear, but it’s a wool blend and too warm to wear at the beginning of fall here. I added this one to my closet in a little more warmer tone than the one I already had. This one will allow me to add fall feels to my wardrobe without being too warm. It’s a nice quality blazer at a great price. The color is listed as dark brown on the website.
ANRABESS Striped Cardigan Sweater
The classic striped lady jacket. This one is a great quality. I can’t believe I didn’t already have this piece. When wearing it as shown as a top, I have a slight gap at the bust. This little tool -also a prime purchase in November, holds in securely close.
CROJUYI Small Crescent Shoulder Bag
The red shoulder bag is also an Amazon purchase but I returned it because it was just not quite big enough for my needs. If you don’t carry a lot this is a cute bag and a great inexpensive way to get in on a color trend ( I have two phones- 1 personal, 1 work, creds and a wallet a minimum so I need more room).
Sleeve Garters
Everyone says to use a rubber band to hold your sleeves up on a jacket for a scrunched up look. It never worked for me. I could never find the right rubber band, but these sleeve garters work great! They take a little adjusting during the day so they don’t show, but they work way better than the rubber band trick.
Slingback Kitten Heels
Shopping online for the perfect shade of burgundy can be a pain. I ordered a pair of similar shoes elsewhere but they were too much of a red shade. These from Amazon worked out perfectly. I’m not a huge kitten heel fan either, but love the look of this shoe and it’s comfortable and easy to wear.
Grace Karin Faux Wrap Cocktail Dress
I had a wedding to attend in November and the attire was cocktail. I have very few dresses anymore because they are not practical for work and my lifestyle. I ordered and tried dresses from several retailers, including multiples from Amazon (because FREE SHIPPING, FREE RETURNS so why not?). This dress was the one I chose. It was my hubby’s pick and it was a little more practical and versatile for my needs. It can be dressed up or down a little. Sure, it would have been fun to choose one of the other fancier dresses, but I likely would have never worn it again.
Dream Pairs Slingback Heels
I ordered these strappy gold sandals because I was certain I was wearing them to the wedding. I had ordered them before and returned them, but I ordered them again for the wedding. I didn’t wear them as they didn’t go as well with the dress I chose, but I think they are a great purchase and I can get some wear out of them for the holidays. ANRABESS Womens Bomber Jacket
Yes, another bomber jacket. And in burgundy. I think I ordered four total to get just the right shade and material. All were cute but some were more like a knit material and a bit too casual for the office. I wanted one that would go either way.
Loafers
I have ordered these as a gift for my mom and they are so stinkin’ cute that I want a pair for myself. They look well made and are soft and cushioned.
Slip shorts
I love wearing these under dresses and this is currently a great deal for a three pack. I have also discovered that these are my solution to no show undies for these pants. Between the color and the material of those pants, I was having a hard time finding undies that didn’t show. Even my go to no shows didn’t work. I love the pants and they are super comfortable, but I recommend a darker color.
CRZ Yoga Sports Bra
I detest those removable pads in sports bras and I am transitioning to ones without. This one is soft and comfortable.
Crescent Shoulder Bag
I ordered about three of these in black before finding one that was large enough for my needs. This one is super cute, not too big, not too small and has an adustable strap.
Slim leather Apple Watch Band
I don’t particularly care for the bands that come with Apple watches, but my last cute band wore out and I have resorted to the original for way too long. I just got this slim leather band a few days ago, but I love it. Still casual, but looks better than the original.
Non Clothing Prime Purchases
Shoe Shelf
This is still a work in progress but I wanted a larger shoe rack. The hubby put this one together for me so I can’t speak to assembly, but it appeared to be easy to put together. The pros are the price and size, however it doesn’t hold heels very well. You have to get them in just the right spot. It’s better suited for flats and sneakers.
Shoe Slots Organizer 20 Pack
These shoe organizers are doubling the space on my shoe shelf. However, my shelf doesn’t really allow me to put heels on these because the space between the shelves isn’t quite high enough. Consider your shelf height and the shoes you want to store when purchasing.
Blue Light Blocking Reading Glasses
It was time to go up in strength on the reading glasses. I keep a pair in multiple places so I love these multi packs.
Peepers by PeeperSpecs
I wanted a slightly nicer pair of reading glasses to leave at the office so I tried these. I’m not sure they are any nicer as far as quality than the multi-pack but we will see (no pun intended.)
Hornady Strip Light
This is my favorite non fashion purchase. It is made for a gun cabinet but we mounted it in the closet under the bottom rack so I can see in the bottom of the closet. It was so dark I had trouble finding one pair of pants from another. Problem solved. Love the motion detection feature.
