This month we are featuring summer to fall transitions with our work wear. I chose to transition this sleeveless leopard print top you saw me wear during spring and summer . To bring this piece into fall, I paired it with a moto jacket and peep toe suede shooties. It’s still very warm here, so I can wear skirts for a while into the fall. The materials and textures help give this look a fall feel.

I have a hard time deciding whether I should wear this jacket open or closed, so I photographed it both ways.

How do you transition from summer to fall? Summer to fall transitions are easy with a few changes of layers, material and textures.

Hope everyone one out there affected by Irma is making some progress with recovery. Our county has power and water use restored and made significant progress in one week! My home suffered the same damage as during Hurricane Matthew- water came in the front bedroom. Out goes the carpet! We took some measures that mitigated the damage this time, but still haven’t figured out how this water gets in during these big storms. We thought it was the windows last year, so we took measures with those, and still water got in. I’m just thankful I still have a house.

Have a great week!
