Happy Friday! It’s my favorite day of the week and I’m sharing more random favorite things. My fall front porch is my absolute favorite thing right now.
I finally decorated the front porch for fall. It has me in the mood to decorate inside too but that hasn’t happened yet. These yellow mums make me so happy when I pass by the front door and see them through the storm door.
I used some mini hay bales purchased at Wal-mart and Lowes and some faux pumpkins. I filled some lanterns with mini faux pumpkins. The houndstooth pumpkins are an old DIY made with duct tape. I just covered a faux foam pumpkin. The wreath is an old DIY as well. It seems like every year something falls off and I just glue something else in its place. I didn’t include photos but my fall front porch includes some fall color outdoor pillows and a wire pumpkin with floral arrangement on the side table.
New favorite hat– a chenille fedora! I stumbled across this at Wal-mart and fell in love. It’s soft and moves better that some of my stiff felt fedoras.

Favorite outfit of the week:
I’m still playing along with the GYPO Fall 2020 Capsule and getting dressed according the the prompts on weekends and when I don’t have to go into the office. I made this outfit my own with pieces from my closet and this new knit moto from Wal-mart. ( I rarely shop at Wal-mart because we seriously dislike our local store, but I’ve mentioned three times in this post already!) I love how edgy this turned out. My style is basically driven by what’s required at work, but sometimes it’s fun to wear something totally different.

While we’re on the topic of trying new things, have you tried kombucha? It’s supposed to be good for your gut and good for detoxing. The mere definition of it disgusts me, but the hubby gets certain ones from time to time. This one is actually good in the pomegrante flavor. It is slightly fizzy and a great replacement to soda. We buy it at Publix.
Favorite splurge
I splurged on this lash treatment as one of my purchases during the Nsale and it’s actually working! I took some before pics and hope to get some good after pics one day, but I can tell a difference. I can see my lashes again without mascara and they touch my brow bone again. Hello eyelashes!
Hope you have a great weekend! Linking up here:
