I’m sure by now you have seen a lot of buzz about the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Highest level cardholders start shopping Tuesday, July 9.
What’s the big deal? It’s a sale on new fall merchandise, not leftover clearanced merchandise. When the stuff is gone, it’s gone. But there is also a chance it won’t be gone, and it will be clearanced again. That makes it all the more important that you shop this sale wisely.

It’s a fun way to see some of what will be trending in fall. Vest, sweater vests, and wide leg pants and jeans are sticking around.
There are also some sandals and “wear now” items in the sale, which is a good thing if you are like me and you aren’t interested in sweaters when it’s 100 degrees.
Navigating this sale can be overwhelming. I don’t want to overwhelm you even more so I don’t plan to make every post from now until August about this sale. It’s one sale. There will be others. I am sharing some of my picks from the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I think are worth shopping.
One more thought on shopping the sale, or any sale: if you find yourself asking is this a good deal? ask yourself what’s its value to you? If you find that unicorn of jeans or other item that fits your body and that you will actually wear, it’s worth the purchase whether it’s on sale or not. Price and value are not the same. So, can you afford it? What’s its value?

The Wacoal no wire is my favorite bra and the strapless bra is the best ever. I purchased Moonlight Eco pajamas in a prior year’s sale and they have held up well and they are so comfortable.
