Shopping opens to the public today for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! I’m a little shoe obsessed so I thought I’d round up the best flats and sneakers for you from the sale. Sneakers have become acceptable with trousers, skirts, dresses and more now days, so you can’t go wrong with a great pair of sneakers. It also seems we are gravitating more to flats since the pandemic, but that doesn’t mean you have to look frumpy. I’ve picked out the most stylish and trendy flats for you. And they are all under $100!

The Best Flats
Abigal Bow Pump/ Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole
I have a pair of red flats that are very similar but they are so old the insides are peeling. I’m looking to replace them because I got a lot of wear from them. Red is going to be trendy this fall, and a pair of red flats add a pop of fun to any outfit. This one inch heel dresses them up just enough to make them office appropriate, but I can also picture them with skirts and jeans and a blazer. They also come in a zebra print and black.
Cole Haan Bia Cutout Flat
These are sleek and sexy and would add instant polish to any jeans and top outfit. They would also look great with pants and a blouse for the office. They come in a neutral black and tan, and in trendy red and gold metallic. I’ve purchased Cole Haan shoes during past anniversary sales and they are some of my most worn shoes. So comfortable right out of the box!
Toms Diana Crossover Platform Wedge Sandal
Ok, with a 2 1/2 inch heel, these may not technically be flats, but a wedge sandal tends to wear as comfortable as a flat, so I’m including these. Toms is a reputable brand and any chance to save on this brand needs to be taken. I like the adjustable slingback strap with hook-and-loop closure. Much easier than traditional straps.
Gisele Mary Jane Mule by Steve Madden
I own several pairs of Steve Madden shoes and they have all lasted me years. These Mary Jane mules caught my eye. They would be super cute with cropped pants. They also come in a trendy red and silver metallic but there are several neutral color choices too.
Elisha Half d’Orsay Pointed Toe Flat
Pointed toe flats are a petite girls best friend. When you are going to skip the heels, go for a pointed toe flat to lengthen the leg. These are Sarto by Franco Sarto, another brand I’ve had success with in the past.
Newport Loafer by Vionic
Known for there comfort, Vionic shoes get rave reviews. You can’t go wrong with a classic loafer and with one this stylish, on one will ever know the shoes have orthotic features.
The Best Sneakers
Zina Perforated 360 Slip-On Sneaker
Dolce Vita has become popular for their sneakers. The perforated detail makes them perfect for wearing now.
Kimmie Perforated Suede Slip-On Sneaker by Vionic
Again, don’t pass up the chance to save on Vionic. A slip on sneaker will always be a classic.
GrandPro Rally Cambry Sneaker by Cole Haan
Platform sneakers are trending right now, but this classic pair will still serve you well when trends have passed. I haven’t tried these, but would based on my experience with Cole Haan shoes, if I were in the market for a white sneaker.
New Balance 574 Sneaker
Hasn’t New Balance become a household name? I already own a couple of pairs and I’m always impressed with the comfort.
Viv 2 Classic Low Top Sneaker by Ryka
I always prefer a low profile sneaker because I’m petite and chunky sneakers can make me look frumpy. These caught my eye and I’m loving the hook and loop straps vs. laces.
Happy Friday Sneaker by Bzees
These made my list because they have a trendy stylish look and I also own Bzees shoes. I did mention I’m a little shoe obsessed, right? My other Bzees shoes are super comfortable and they really do hold up to machine washing!
