While March was full of spring fashion finds, April’s prime purchases were much more practical household and beauty items. Here’s a look at what I purchased.
Random Household Purchases
Folgers Classic Medium Roast Coffee, 19 Single Serve Coffee Bags
We don’t have a Keuring and sometimes I just want a cup of coffee without brewing a pot. These are also handy when the power is out and we have to boil water on the camp stove to make coffee.
Frelaxy Compression Sack Sleeping Bag Storage
We pulled out our heavy sleeping bags during the ice storm of January, but they were really dusty. We decided they needed a good washing and something to keep the dust off. We finally got around to ordering these storage bags. It was a struggle to get them in, but we did it!
4 Rolls PET Tapes Pre-Cut Washi Tape Stickers
I keep an daily/weekly planner and I keep one for outfits and what I wore. These stickers are perfect for my outfit planner.
Sensyne 60″ Phone Tripod & Selfie Stick
I bought this on the recommendation of a Instagram influencer who teaches instagram tricks and how to make reels. This thing is super light and portable. I had been dragging around my heavy tripod for my DSLR camera, even when I only planned to use my phone camera and this one is so much easier. I would be cautious in heavy wind, but otherwise it’s perfect for running outside and shooting pics or reels with my phone, and for taking with me on trips.
Fits 2018-2020 Subaru Crosstrek, Rally Light Bar
The hubby ordered this for his car. He is always tinkering with it and adding something. He also ordered some fasteners and a light cover.
Beauty Items I Primed
Lumineux Teeth Whitening Strips 9 Treatments
I love these. They really whiten teeth and have a fresh minty taste instead of a chemical taste. I was out, so this was a restock.
Tigi Bed Head Small Talk 3 in 1 Thickifier/Energizer and Stylizer, 8.12 Ounces
I use a small amount of this on my hair when I wash it. I apply before I even comb my wet hair. It makes it easier to comb and helps hold my ultimate style. This was also a restock.
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 50
This serves as a sunscreen and primer under makeup. This was also a restock. I had ordered a smaller bottle to test it as the previous sunscreen I was using was causing some reactions and drying out my skin.
Kenra Volume Spray 25
I love this hairspray and the two pack is a great deal. It was also time to restock this. I had been without for a while trying to use up another spray I had on hand, but I missed my Kenra.
Vitamins and Supplements
These are all part of our regular regimen. We needed to restock. Sometimes we shop local but our favorite local store was out of some things, so we did an Amazon order.
Life Extension Optimized Ashwagandha
I take this to help keep blood sugar in check. It’s supposed to reduce cortisol and stress, which can drive your blood sugar up.
KAL Chelated Magnesium Bisglycinate
We both take magnesium and the hubby takes this one. These are some pretty large pills so I take a different one.
Bronson Magnesium Glycinate 200 MG per Serving Chelated
This is the magnesium that I take, and I cannot miss it or I get cramps in my legs at night.
COUNTRY FARMS Bountiful Beets Capsules
The hubby is taking this for heart health and energy. He has only taken it a couple of months so I don’t know if he is seeing results yet.
BlueBonnet Nutrition Micronized Creatine Monohydrate 5 g
Both of us are taking creatine for better recovery from workouts. This stuff is amazing! I have increased my weight amount over the past couple of months and recovery has been super easy. Normally, I would be sore for a couple of days with the increase I have made, but I only have mild to no soreness when I take creatine.
