This week’s outfits consisted of lots of pattern- particularly plaid. I’m also really gravitating toward my puffer vests for casual outfits. I thought I was done and over my puffer vests and probably would not wear them this year but I’ve been drawn to them, so I’ll keep wearing them. We had a mild to warm week with our highs in the 60s and 70s.

Saturday night– We went out to eat and to run errands. It was in the high 40s so I took advantage of the opportunity to wear this scarf with a sweater and a vest. I love this “half” blanket scarf- not nearly as bulky as a regular blanket scarf. I’m wearing my snakeskin booties with crop flare jeans- yes you can continue to wear crop jeans in the fall and winter.

Sunday- I wore this out to run errands. I’m loving the look of a puffer vest over a sweatshirt or tunic top with leggings and sneakers for an atheleisure look. I was inspired by Daily Style Finds. I’ll be repeating this formula all winter.

Monday– Bible study
I haven’t worn my boyfriend jeans much lately and I was looking for something comfy. I wore the sneakers on repeat too. Sometimes an item gets my attention and I won’t let it go.

Tuesday– Back to work. I wore the outfit from Monday’s 9 to 5 Style post and as I indicated I would, I added a blazer.

Sometimes I get a little quirky and do something a little different, like wear suede “shooties” to work instead of heels. With the blazer and plaid pants, this has a little menswear vibe going on, but the eyelet top keeps it feminine.

Do you enjoy these posts? They seem to be drawing a lot of traffic, but not much else. I don’t want to sound like a negative Nancy but these post seem to take a lot of time to put together. I want to always provide inspiration for you, but I have to weigh time and effort with results. I’m thinking about scaling back to every other week but that would probably just take twice as long every other week.
