With the start of a new year comes a lot of “best of” or favorites from the past year. Jennie suggested we a do a top two favorites of 2018 for 9 to 5 Style and I thought this was a great idea. It’s fun to look back just a bit and see what I styled and if I would do anything differently.
My two favorite themes/outfits were trenches and summer brights. I actually really like all of the 9 to 5 Style outfits I put together last year. Maybe because I have to try a little harder to fit a theme? I don’t know, but I’d be happy to repeat any of them and picking just two favorites was hard. However, these two finally won out.
Trench coats I styled my sleeveless trench coat and I loved how it turned out with the navy and the stripes.

My second favorite for 2018 was Summer Brights. You know I love bright colors! This was also the most viewed 9 to 5 Style post last year so it must have been a favorite of yours too. I love the contrast of the hot pink blazer against the black slacks and the green floral top made the perfect extra bit of summer color.
The second most viewed 9 to 5 style post last year was button up shirts. I also liked how that outfit turned out too. This monthly collaboration is a fun one to do and I look forward to bringing you more 9 to 5 style inspiration in the future. Hopefully, you can see that 9 to 5 style doesn’t have to be plain or boring.
